Date of Tubal Reversal: 01/10/2008
Date of Pregnancy Test: 07/03/2011
Remarks: I just took a test tonight, with it being a weekend and a holiday I am a bit nervous. I called my OBGYN and the on call doctor called me back. I explained that I had a reversal, I needed an HCG drawn asap and that I’m already a week past when I should have started getting blood taken. I asked what I should do and he said to call my doctor Tuesday. This makes me extremely nervous considering I should have already seen a doctor. My stomach hurts and I have some cramping, I was sure my period was coming. I remember having cramping with my 1st pregnancy after my reversal, but I like to be cautious and I’m feeling guilty for not testing sooner. What should I do? Go to the ER tomorrow or wait until Tuesday and call my doctor?

Remarks: I found the day before I was supposed to start cause of how wacky my symptoms were, it was positive the day I was supposed to start I went in for a blood test on 6/22/11 and my HCG was only 12 so I caught it really early ,took another blood test on 6/24/11 and it went up to 84 and she wanted to keep an eye on it so I came back in on the following Friday, 7/1/11 and it jumped up to 3800 and she said to come in for a ultrasound that afternoon, I do have a small cyst on one of my ovaries but she said that was nothing to worry about she saw a gestational sac and the yolk sac in my uterus but no baby yet and she said only cause I am still early… going for another vaginal ultrasound next Friday, 7/8/11 to keep an eye on it to make sure there is no complications SO FAR SO GOOD… THANK YOU Dr. Berger
