Remarks: I do not believe this pregnancy will be viable. I just wanted to report it… I know it means my tubes are still open. Unfortunately, my ob/gyn believes the cilia in the tubes are not functioning to move things along to my uterus. I am able to conceive… just never seem to get beyond a week’s worth of numbers before they start stalling out. I will go for my first draw today and take it from there. I still wouldn’t change having my reversal. I am still grateful for the opportunity you gave us.

We had 1 miscarriage in June 2010 and delivered our fourth son on April 8th of 2011. With three teenage boys and 1 newborn we decided to have another right away for Caleb to have a playmate. Remarks: I am almost upon my four year anniversary of my tubal reversal. Sadly, my first pregnancy after my reversal surgery was ectopic 04/06/08. We tried off and on since then but pretty much gave up any hope. To our surprise I took a pregnancy test on June 1, 2011 and it was positive. I immediately called my doctor I went in for an ultrasound two days later but nothing could be seen. We were treating it as an ectopic since there was no sac in the uterus. We decided to wait and see. That evening, I did have to go back to the ER as I started having major pain. It turned out to be another ectopic. On a good note, the dr. I have now is still hopeful that I could get pregnant even with one tube and even though I just turned 40. I now have two precious gems whom I will get to see in heaven one day. Even though I cannot hold them now, I will get to hold them for eternity, and I just wanted to say that even after all the heartache and the elapsed time, I am still grateful for my reversal.
