Name: Christine Dotter H.
Location: Decatur, Texas
Date of Tubal Reversal: 03/17/2010
Date of Pregnancy Test: 11/27/2010
Ligation Type: Resection (tied or cut)
Due Date: 08/03/2011
Remarks: Husband was abroad from 12/09/2009 until 09/03/2010. September 2010 was the first month we were able to try to conceive after the reversal procedure. I got pregnant on my third, hypothetical, ovulation. I did take Guaifenesin to boost cervical mucous this particular cycle. Vast improvement in CM noted. I am 37 and I had my TL 03/2007 when I was 23. I was fearful of my chances after having my tubal for 13 years, having moderately scarred tubes and being of advanced maternal age. I am only noting these facts to assuage any fear that someone may be having regarding their chances at conception. Do what you can, pick the best to do your surgery and allow grace to do the rest. Good luck. Dr. Berger, I will keep you abreast of any changes. Thank you for your fine surgical skill and your positivity before, during and after surgery. It was of great comfort to me! May you have many, many more years ahead of you to continue what you do so very well! Sincerely, Christine and Tommy H.

Name: Sandra G.
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Date of Tubal Reversal: 09/04/2006
Date of Pregnancy Test: 11/25/2010
Ligation Type: Coagulation (burned)
Due Date: 08/10/2011
Remarks: I didn’t even know I was pregnant. I woke up Thanksgiving morning with sharp cramps near my left ovary. i was doubled over with pain. After about 30 minutes I decided to go to the hospital, because I feared it was an ectopic. Got to the emergency room and they did all the tests. They could not diagnose that it was an ectopic. Ultrasound showed that I had a small Cyst on my ovary, and a 4 mm sized spot in the corner of the uterus, next to the tube. Surprisingly enough, HCG was 400 and I’m only a couple of weeks pregnant. They sent me home and told me to make sure to come back and check levels on Saturday to determine where this pregnancy may go from here. I have not even tried to get pregnant and actually only had intercourse once this month. I will be 39 in February.
