No Scalpel Vasectomy Mission Northern Haiti Offers Free Vasectomy Procedures

Dr. Monteith will be joining the No Scalpel Vasectomy International team of doctors and social workers and performing free vasectomy procedures in Northern Haiti July 22nd through July 25th.
Vasectomy has long been known to be the most effective and affordable way for a couple to pursue long-term contraception. No scalpel vasectomy is a modern vasectomy, which is safer and more effective, and the procedure typically takes about 10-15 minutes. Minimally invasive no scalpel vasectomy can easily be performed in an office setting under local anesthesia.
The NSV mission is sponsored by No Scalpel Vasectomy International Inc. (NSVI), which has been providing free vasectomy procedure services since 2001. The mission of NSVI is to promote and provide free No-Scalpel Vasectomy services worldwide, but especially in developing countries whose infrastructure and environmental resources are challenged by rapid population growth unchecked by established and/or effective family planning programs.
The team is comprised of doctors from Haiti, Florida, Minnesota. With the addition of Dr. Monteith North Carolina is now added to the list of regions contributing medical and surgical expertise to this worthwhile vasectomy mission.
Free Vasectomy Procedures Haiti
The vasectomy experts will be providing free vasectomy procedures during the course of the four day mission.
The mission schedule is packed and is as follows:
- Wednesday, July 22 Mission Day 1: Arrival in Cap Haitien where the team will perform No Scalpel vasectomy during the evening hours
- Thursday, July 23 Mission Day 2: Travel to Plaisance, Haiti to perform additional No Scalpel Vasectomy procedures.
- Friday July 24 Mission Day 3: Travel Ft. Bourgeois in the morning and perform No Scalpel vasectomies at Ft. St. Michel Health Center and then return to Cap Haitien.
- Saturday, July 25 Mission Day 4 The team will perform additional vasectomies before returning to the United States.
