Can burned tubes be reversed?
Tubal burning is also called tubal coagulation. Tubal coagulation…or burning of the fallopian tubes is a very common method of tubal ligation.
This procedure is often done long after you have had a baby. The doctor will insert a camera into the belly button to perform a laparoscopic (camera) tubal ligation. They will then insert a device that burns the fallopian tubes.
As long as a small portion of the fallopian tube is burnt then the remaining tubal ends are usually long enough to rejoin and allow a good chance at pregnancy.
The chance of pregnancy after reversal of burned tubes is approximately 60%.
You may even be fortunate enough to have twins like this lucky and very blessed mother from Bethel Minnesota!
