After 9 years of trying, 6 miscarriages, and 2 IVF cycles, and at age 43, we had stopped trying and had even been using the cycle method as contraception. I had gone two years without any pregnancy and I assumed that my time to have babies was over. My oldest son had a baby and I was loving the grandma role. I was giving all my baby love to my grandson now and it was fine. Then my son found out he was expecting another baby, and I was ecstatic.
Two weeks later I missed my period and thought, here comes menopause. Alas, it was not to be. The TR was successful! My son Riley was born 13 days after my granddaughter made her appearance! Riley has been such a blessing to us and I am in awe of him every day! My family is truly complete. He was worth the wait.
I still remember how nice everyone was at A Personal Choice and what a pleasant experience I had. I flew to Chapel Hill from Las Vegas after going through an unsuccessful IVF cycle. The doctor here advised me against TR. I was nervous at first going across the country for a medical procedure, but it was totally fine. Every one in Chapel Hill knows A Personal Choice and as a patient and someone from out of town it really helps that everyone knows how and where to go.
I would recommend Dr. Berger to any and all considering this procedure. Once again, thanks Dr. Berger.
