Thank you from the bottom of our hearts as this little guy completes our blended family! Words can not describe the joy we had in the operating room…we both looked at each other when we heard his little cry and I said…Wow there is Dr. Monteith’s miracle we have been waiting for!!!

Tubal Reversal Journey: Is There Meaning?
Many of our patients refer to the tubal reversal experience as a ‘Tubal Reversal Journey“.
For many, the journey is long and personal. Not all that start will finish and not all who finish will be rewarded.
Many are unaware the journey begins immediately after their tubes tied are tied. Many may not recognize this as the start until long after the journey is complete.
After tubal ligation, patients must acknowledge regret, remorse, and guilt. They must process these feelings into their ultimate decision to overcome the permanence of their tubal ligation and have more children. Many must then face the decision to either have tubal reversal or pursue IVF treatment.
Often the hardest decision is just deciding to have reversal surgery.
They must then undergo financial hardship to save for surgery. Once this is completed travelers on the journey must schedule, complete, and recover from reversal surgery. After healing the journey is only half complete. They must wait patiently to be rewarded with the fruit of their labor. Sometimes the waiting can be the hardest part.
Once pregnancy is obtained travelers must navigate the risks of early pregnancy, overcome the possibility of tubal pregnancy or pregnancy miscarriage, and complete the last 9 months of their travel.
When one understands all of the above then one can truly understand why many refer to this as their “Tubal Reversal Journey“.
