“Unlike IVF, tubal reversal surgery does not increase your risk of twins.”
Posted 21st January, 2014
Many of our patients want to know what are their chances of having twins after tubal ligation reversal surgery?
Tubal reversal surgery can be more effective than IVF in maximizing the chances of pregnancy but, unlike IVF, tubal reversal surgery does not increase your risk of twins. In general the chance of having twins after tubal reversal is about the same as the your chances of having twins was before your tubal ligation. The chance of twins with any one pregnancy is about 2 to 3%.
This message and lovely photo of twin baby girls Makenna and Jenna was sent to us by her mother. They were born early but they are going strong!
